Fluorescent Dirt featuring the work of AU alumni and current faculty 帕特里克•布伦南, and artist/collaborator Grace Sachi Troxell, will be on display at the 科恩画廊 6月8日 - July 22, with a reception Friday, 7月7日下午5点到7点. Summer hours are 结婚nesday - Saturday 11am to 2pm.
This exhibition of paintings and sculpture deals with notions around the culling of sources - natural and unnatural - for materials and their use as a guide for both artists’ rigorous studio investigations. The two artists bonded in graduate school at Cornell over David Batchelor’s book "Chromophobia", which opened up the space for them to collaborate and explore their respective materials of paint and clay. They continue this conversation with "Fluorescent Dirt".
